This is an LCD 1602 Parallel LCD Display that offers a simple and cost-effective way to integrate a 16×2 white-on-blue liquid crystal display into your project. It can display 16 characters over 2 lines, with clear white text against a high-contrast blue backlight.This blue backlight LCD is an excellent choice for Arduino-based projects and is very easy to interface with Arduino or other microcontrollers. Unlike traditional LCD 1602 displays, which require about 8 pins to operate, this model comes with an I2C adapter already soldered onto the display’s pins. This means you only need to connect the I2C pins, simplifying the wiring and coding process.The I2C interface is a type of serial bus developed by Philips, utilizing two bidirectional lines: SDA (Serial Data Line) and SCL (Serial Clock Line). Both lines need to be connected using pull-up resistors. The standard operating voltages are 5V and 3.3V.
