When testing DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current, resistance, diode, buzzer and battery, connect the red test lead to V 0 mA jack and black test lead to COM jack. When testing the magnifying ratio of the transistor, turn the switch to FE position and connect the transistor to the eight hole jack.
The square wave output has a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of approximately 3 V peak-to-peak (Vp-p). The output jacks used are “V Ω mA” and “COM”.
When testing the current gain (hFE) of a transistor, turn the switch to the hFE position and insert the transistor into the 8-hole socket according to its type and pin configuration.
